Insurance and payment guide

How direct billing works, what estimates mean, and how to plan treatment costs before care begins.

Quick answer

Direct billing means the clinic submits an insurance claim for you, then you pay any remaining portion based on your plan. Coverage is decided by your insurer, so Allo Dental Clinic reviews expected fees before treatment and can submit estimates for planned care.

What does direct billing mean?

Direct billing is an administrative service. The clinic submits the claim to your insurer, and your insurer decides the eligible reimbursement based on your plan.

You may still have a co-pay, annual maximum, deductible, frequency limit, or service exclusion. Allo Dental Clinic can help explain what the response from your insurer means.

When will I know the cost?

For exams, cleanings, and simple visits, the team can usually explain expected fees before the appointment. For treatment, the fee depends on diagnosis, complexity, materials, lab work, and timing.

No treatment starts until you understand the plan and expected fee.

What if I do not have insurance?

Patients without insurance are welcome. The clinic still provides written estimates before treatment and can discuss payment timing for larger planned care.
