Quick answer

A first dental visit at Allo Dental Clinic usually includes a medical and dental history review, a full exam, photos or X-rays when useful, a cleaning, and a written plan. The goal is to understand your teeth, gums, bite, comfort needs, and priorities before any treatment decisions are made.

What happens first?

Your first visit starts with your medical history, dental history, current concerns, medications, and comfort preferences. This helps the team understand what has changed and what makes dental care easier for you.

If records or X-rays from a previous dentist are useful, Allo Dental Clinic can help request them. New images are recommended only when they help with diagnosis or planning.

What does the dentist check?

The dentist checks teeth, gums, bite, existing dental work, signs of wear, and any areas that feel sensitive or painful. Intra-oral photos may be used so you can see what the dentist sees.

The exam is followed by plain-language findings. If treatment is recommended, you leave with priorities, options, timing, and expected fees before anything begins.

What should I bring?

Bring photo ID, insurance details if you have them, a medication list, recent X-rays if available, and any questions you want answered.

  • Photo ID
  • Insurance card or policy details
  • Medication list
  • Recent X-rays or records if available
  • Questions or concerns
